We are seeking an Asia Private Credit reporter join our team covering special situations in the region. Requirements: Exceptional knowledge and experience covering the Asia private credit market. Candidate must have extensive network of contacts in the region, including local banks, government, hedge funds, investment banks, asset managers,etc. Must be well-connected in the syndicated loan and bond markets, including origination, syndication, trading, and workout groups. Candidate must have strong financial analysis skills, must be proficient in English writing and have a collaborative mindset with proven ability to work effectively in teams, ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a financial journalist or at a bank/asset manager. Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field of study and eligibility to work in Singapore (as a PR or Singapore Citizen) or Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities include: • Help collect data from fund managers and companies involved in Private Credit transactions in Emerging Markets. • Gather information about past and prospective transactions, with a special focus on Latam. • Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions. Key Learning Outcomes: • Strong understanding of the Private Credit landscape in Emerging Markets. • Strong understanding on how news agencies and research platforms operate. Qualifications: • Currently pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields. • Strong research and analytical skills. • Highly organized and detail-oriented. • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. • A deep curiosity and eagerness to learn. • Strong communication skills. • Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications. • Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills will be considered as a key asset (however not mandatory).
